What is a student ambassador?

A Student Ambassador represents the voice of the students for the employability department and college. They champion employability services, initiatives, and events while encouraging fellow students to get involved in activities geared towards career advancement. Through their involvement, they radiate a positive Mont Rose College ethos, enthusiastically connecting with and aiding both aspiring and current students, and actively participating in the vibrant college community.’

Hey everyone! I’m Olubunmi, and I’m studying Health & Social Care at MRC.
I am proud to be one of your Student Ambassadors and fellow peers. I’m here as your go-to for anything employability related, including CVs, placements and job searching. I am part of the employability and work to make sure you receive the right support. I am easy going, open-minded, and free-spirited – I’m pretty sure we’ll hit it off! On a more personal note, I’m not just a Health & Social Care enthusiast; I also love being in the kitchen, putting together African traditional dishes with a modern flair. Hi, I am Silviya,, currently majoring in Business Marketing as part of the Top-Up program. Alongside my studies, I am your student ambassador, a go to medium between you and the employability team, offering a helping hand whenever you need a conversation with the employability team or a study buddy. In my free time, I’m an avid reader, a passionate fashion enthusiast, and a former national poetry competition winner in Bulgaria. HND Business Marketing

Hi there, I am Nazaratun, a HND Business Marketing student and I am your Student Ambassador. I represent you as a student, assisting to connect you with various job opportunities alongside the employability team. I also take responsibility in delivering your support request to the employability team at the earliest convenience. In my spare time, I am a researcher specialising in Bangladesh literature and study on Women’s Right. I record women’s living status in Bangladesh through various Youtube Channels to raise social awareness. If you are active within social causes, I’m your girl. I am always up for an intellectual discussion and willing to brainstorm and support you where I can.

What will my working hours be?

Be a part of our Student Ambassador team – where you’ll earn a competitive hourly rate of £10.42 (National Living Wage) while enjoying flexible working hours that fit your busy schedule.

Applications for new Student Ambassadors will be open in September 2024!
You will need to complete the online application form by Monday 21st October 2024, 5pm.
